Welcome to Craigmore Polled Herefords

David’s grandfather had commercial Herefords and then his father, Bruce started Craigmore Herefords in 1970 and had both stud and commercial Herefords. Today David has all stud Herefords and no commercial cows. David and Sue Henderson and their teenagers, Robyn and Daniel run the stud and have 400 breeding cows on the peatlands, south of Hamilton

The farm also finishes beef cattle that have been brought in  as store cattle. The farm also grows 50 hectares of maize per year which is sold onto dairy farmers as a food supplement.
